Dr. Frank Ervolino, ND

The conventiional oncology community is quietly admitting that 50 years of trying to debulk cancer tumors with chemo and radiation is not yielding the results hoped for.  Now the emphasis is on developing drugs that are metabolilc response modifiers such as Gleevec, which can disrupt a cancer cell's metabolism.  It turns out that natural therapies have been going in this direction all along and these natural metabolic response modifiers are the subject of Dr. Frank Ervolino's talk.

Dr. Frank Ervolino has practiced in the Jupiter, FL area since 2001 when he joined the Mind/Body Institute of Jupiter Hospital.  He joined the staff of Jupiter Medical Center in 2002.  Since then he has been in private practice.  Presently Dr. Ervolino is involved with a medical education project for Palm Beach Community College where he serves as adjunct faculty, CEO of Affordable Health Inc., and as medical director for a new medical service which will  be starting soon in the Palm Beach Gardens area.  Dr. Ervolino is also a writer, having served as the Senior research editor for Better Nutrition Magazine.  Dr. Ervolino also served on the Florida State Board of Acupuncture for the Department of Health where he was the board chairman.

In addition to his private practice, Mr. Foster consults with physicians both locally and internationally.  He has been interviewed extensively on local media and for over 10 years he has hosted his own radio program, "Health Connection Radio", now on broadcast Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri at 9:30-10:00 a.m. EST and Sat, Sun 10:00 a.m. EST on WLVJ 1040am in South Florida.  The show is also simulcast on the internet at www.1800chemist.com .

The benefits of therapeutic nutrients has been demonstrated in many different degenerative diseases.  Jay will explain specific roles played by minerals and vitamins in controlling enzyme function.  Enzymes control most every chemical reaction in our cells and all enzymes need coenzymes (vitamins) and cofactors (minerals) to carry out their function.  Deficiencies or imbalances in these nutrients affect the chemical reactions and have ramifications in Mood Disorders, Heart Disease, Brain Aging and Osteoporosis.  Don't miss his fascinating presentation filled with practical information for attendees.
